Biography

Attorney Liset Lefebvre is the founder and managing attorney of Lefebvre Law Firm, PLLC, in Plano, Texas. Mrs. Lefebvre is a Board Certified Attorney in Immigration and Nationality Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, with over 20 years of experience. She represents individuals, entrepreneurs, athletes, models, artists, and small businesses globally.

While in law school, Mrs. Lefebvre studied Comparative Law and Transnational Litigation at the University College of London, Faculties of Law. She also clerked at Bacciardi & Partners, an international corporate law firm in Italy, as well as for the United States 10th Circuit Court of Appeals, Bankruptcy Appellate Panel in Denver, Colorado. Upon graduation, she clerked for the 383rd District Court in El Paso, Texas.

Prior to her immigration law practice, Mrs. Lefebvre participated in the defense of complex commercial litigation matters.

Mrs. Lefebvre has received numerous honors and awards, including D Best Lawyers 2021-2025, Super Lawyers 2021-2025, and a ranking among the Top 10 Attorneys for Immigration by the American Institute of Legal Counsel in 2019. She is an active member of the Dallas Bar Association, currently serving as the Vice-Chair for the Immigration Law Section. In January 2020, she was selected by the Dallas Bar Association to participate in the DBA WE LEAD program, Women Empowered to Lead in the Legal Profession, and is currently serving as the Assistant Director of Alumni Affairs. Mrs. Lefebvre is also a frequent speaker at AILA immigration law conferences and coordinates continuing legal education classes for immigration attorneys in Dallas, Texas.

Mrs. Lefebvre was inducted into the Texas Bar College, an honorary society of lawyers who are among the best trained attorneys in Texas. In 2021, she was selected as a Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation for outstanding professional service, one of the highest honors given by the State Bar of Texas. Only one-third of 1% of Texas attorneys receive this honor each year.

Mrs. Lefebvre is fluent in Spanish, and conversational in Italian. She is married and has two daughters, Maddy and Savannah. Mrs. Lefebvre enjoys yoga, cycling, reading, and dedicates her time to help our youth pursue their educational dreams by serving as an ISM mentor and as a mock-trial attorney advisor to high school students in Frisco, Texas.
